Hey, Downsouth & Teflon, glad to see you are with me on Cisco. Main point. LU is not and cannot be a Gorilla. They are a King. They are a monster King in telecommunications, but, they do not control the architecture or the IOS of the Internet. Cisco does! They have nothing that I can see that is proprietary to the point that it gives them a monopoly. Their size and marketing setup give them "Gorillalike" sales ability, and they will obviously do very well.

For the last year, I have seen post after post about how somebody else's router or switch was better than Cisco's and was going to drive Cisco's margins down. It isn't happening because of Cisco's control of the IOS and the architecture.

By the way, Teflon, I understand your reluctance to post personal information in the Profile section. I don't like "big brother" looking at me either. I think most people don't post personal information because they are don't want the people where they work to know they post here. I own my business, and don't give a damn who knows what I think here. I get a few emails from idiots, but it doesn't bother me. No one has showed up at my door with a gun!
