Carbite Golf - Sales Up 350 percent at 1997 PGA Trade
Show in Orlando

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Carbite Golf Inc. is pleased to
report that its subsidiary, Carbite, Inc. of San Diego, has for
the third consecutive year displayed its golf products at the
world's largest PGA Trade Show held in Orlando, Florida last
month. Carbite sales at the PGA Trade Show exceeded its budget
estimates by 200 percent and its sales were up 350 percent over
the sales at last year's PGA Trade Show.

On display was Carbite's Dual-Density Putter. Carbite's Putter was
compared to conventional putters using a new putting efficiency
research robot named "Yipless" which has proven in a controlled
test the new Dual-Density Putters from Carbite sink all putts
attempted compared to the conventional putters which sink none.
"Yipless irrefutably demonstrates how much energy conventional
putters lose when they strike the ball off center, and how much
energy is retained by Dual-Density Putters on the same off center
hit", says Chester Shira, Carbite's Founder and manager of
research and development.

Carbite Dual-Density Putters dramatically increase putting
efficiency through a patented process which metallurgically
combines heavy tungsten at the putter's heel and toe with
lightweight titanium in the hitting area. This Dual-Density
technology produces as much as 65 percent more moment of inertia
(resistance to energy transfer loss) than today's popular designs,
reports Shira.

Carbite, Inc. manufactures wedges, putters and iron sets under the
trademarks CheckMate, Tru-Spin, Viper Bite, Dual-Density and
Diatanium.
