I should have already bought but...
I thought that AMD will pullback when the Pentium III is released but the Pentium III is looking more like a dud every day. Intel continues its arrogance with CPUID and no one except Paul can get excited over KNI. Still, the fair person that I am, the Pentium III does have MHz going for it and volume. AMD won't have major volume on the K6-III until Qtr. 2.
With the Celeron due at 433, I'm starting to lean toward Intel preannouncing an earnings shortfall due to low ASPs...especially if they have to drop prices on the Pentium III, but I don't think AMD will have the volume to force Intel to do that this qtr..
