Well, I think it's a given what the report to Congress in June will recommend. The best possible scenario, IMO, would be to just study it for a few more years. Legalization will never fly, regulation probably will never work and prohibiting the practice would be almost impossible and impractical to enforce. I must admit, it's amusing to see who the proponents to prohibition are. These members include big gambling establishments, certain states that rely on gambling revenues and sports teams who are opposed to wagering on the net, but, see no problem with exhorbitant ticket prices and concessions or even surcharging rental cars and hotels to pay for stadiums and salaries! Go figure.<g> The solution as I see it is for fans to just stay home, watch the games on TV and wager the ticket money with Starnet. For many, it could be a winning proposition! TG
