I do not think cell phones are threat to PCs, PCs will grow in use, but other connected devices will swamp the number PC connected. That said, when I was on vacation you wouldn't believe the number of people using the net for E-mail, they had kiosk set up in bars like video games, shoving $2.00 coins in them too, if those people could use their cell phones, I bet 90% had cell phones, they wouldn't use PC as much. Keep this in mind though, cell phones do not have a very wide bandwidth, lower then 14.8, that will change but I do not see them reaching cable range anytime soon.
