Nancy,

My contention is this, and I could be wrong, is that God's word should NOT be difficult in any way. It should be easy to understand, and easy to teach.

As far as I'm concerned, the Christian belief is the most easy to understand, makes the most sense and is truly a blessing to us because of its perfect nature.

I do not find the scriptures difficult. I find that people over complicate them though. And they twist and turn and this is why we have the disagreement. There are concepts that could go different ways and are just not 100% clear to everyone. But they are not real important. They don't regard salvation. The salvation message is crystal clear.

If what you believe does not make sense, or is too complicated to you, (and I'm not aiming this at you, but anyone reading this post), IMO then you probably need to rethink your belief. It just should not be.

I assure you what I believe to be God's truth is so simple to understand, a child of 5 (or maybe less) and above could understand it and accept it. The concepts that do get hazy, they are just not that important.

God Bless us all with clear understanding of his word!
Steve
