Are you talking about options? If so agree (unless one has uncanny timing ability or insider information).

I do occasionally sell covered calls when I get nervous about a stock, but in the long haul I've only broken even on such a strategy.

Yesterday was pretty disappointing, but it looks like THQI will open strong today.
