CWEI closed @ 12 3/8, -1 3/4, Bid 12 3/8 X Ask 12 5/8...Vol..181.8K

Another bad day for CWEI on heavy volume. The low for the day was 12. CWEI rallied off of that low to get as high as 12 3/4 X 13 before falling back again as oil was falling at that time. CWEI spent most of the day trading between 12 3/8 to 12 3/4. After being down as much as 0.50, oil came back to close the day up 0.19. CWEI's 200 day moving average is getting close to 11 3/4 and there also appears to be a support level above the notch at 11 5/8 that occurred towards the end of October. After the series of down days we have had, one would think we are overdue for an up day. Earnings announcement is about three weeks away; at some point CWEI should rally on earnings expectations. Thanks for the technical input Gary.

March Oil $22.42, up 0.19 (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996)
Natural Gas 2.37, down 0.015 (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)

CWEI receives an extra 0.40 for the liquids in its natural gas, on top of the stated priced.
