Ah, Middleburg. Are you horsey? I would love to be on 89th, so close to the Metropolitan and the Guggenheim. When you say that you live "a clip north of the city", I take it you refer to a third residence. I had a good friend who used to live in Ossining, and I have friends in Croton- on- Hudson, a friend in Rye, and acquaintances spread around the area. Are you in Westchester? By the way, I grew up on the Maryland side, when I wasn't in the city, and it is not unusual for Marylanders to mostly stay on their side of the river, and Virginians to do the same. I have lived most of my adult life in Annapolis, and am currently a couple of miles from the Chesapeake Bay, although my wife and I will probably move to Washington when our son finishes high school in a few years.
