With an emulator like Wabi or WINE I'm told you can run your Windows applications. Excel is the only MSFT product I use. And it is a great piece of software. I simply run Windows 95 when I need Excel.

I heard WINE sucks wind. I may be wrong.

The Applix Office Suite for Linux is great. A lot of people love StarOffice.

Is this the one that falsely advertises Word compatibility? The one I'm thinking of can read Word files that were saved in RTF but not in native Word format.

I still don't see version of the following for Linux, although several of them are available for the Mac (I removed Oracle because I know that one is available for Linux):

Quicken, TurboTax, OutLook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, PowerPoint
