Frank, >>>"btw, if anyone runs into Tony, tell him to stop by and register his vote. He smelled
some bear on the thread, and last I saw was headed for the hills <vbg>."

C'mon Frank, I've been here as recently as Sunday.

You never answered me on that one. Never mind though, don't want to start a crusade after my rear from the hallowed Church of Dell. If I want to get scorched, I'll get a condo at Cabo this summer.

TI? I don't have a position. What I do know, they are the undisputed world leader in DSPs. Now, Intel and Analog Devices have an alliance for mutual development of DSPs, but I don't think it is to go after TI's overall dominating position. Intel tends to go to work in areas out of their own area, NIC cards another example, when that off main line stuff can help push their core products, which are computer centered, of course. Bottom line Intel and TI should coexist. But there's only one Gorilla between them!
