Let me explain my exstrapulation.
(a)I estimate a reseller, sales, in a big city signs up 2--3 people a day. (5dys.x 3 = 15in aweek lets put the #@ 12 low ball).
(b)In a small city,or town, (5 people a week)average.
(c)Aveage for both; 7-10 people a week x 300 resellers = 2,000 people a week. Lets only count the last 10 wks.10x 2,000 = 20,000 people. This would be a conservative number.
You have to wonder (1)Why would GMGC discontinue free trial promo.,if portico wasn"t selling well?(after this week it will cost new portico customers $50 sign up fee).
(2)Why would GMGC hire new people to train new,portico customers?
My statement was, I felt that General Magic was ahead of their numbers,(not WAy ahead of the numbers.That was your statement)
Just my feelings & feelings aren"t facts. For me to make that post,I felt I owed the people on this thread an explanation. I haven"t seen any posts, on the numbers portico might doing lately.If there are, Im all ears.
