The Libertarian Discussion forum was about to drop off the first page, so I decided to rescue it. Since some of our previous discussions seem to have petered out, I thought I'd start a philosophical debate going. Does human authenticity depend upon society? Can one be truly human without participating in a community ? Can there be a deep identity without remembrance? Do we fulfill ourselves as part of a larger historical project? Is nationalism a legitimate vehicle for ethical development?
