246810,

I can well imagine the dynamics involved in and around the NYC political scene.

I am a Canadian living in Canada and with only 10% of the population of the U.S I can hardly even keep up with the political moving target in my own local community.

If anyone really feels that they have got the political scene figured out and can explain it to me in simple terms--then I would be most grateful and I would also expect to pass on a copy to my local political representatives and maybe it could help curtail their moving target double talk! The political scene in Canada in my opinion is nothing but a money grabbing ( do a friend a favor) joke--leaving a small average working class minority to pay for a amajority of people who enjoy milking the system. The way I see it sooner or later we in Canada will just simply run out of enough people making a tax slaughtered existence to provide for the political debt making machine.

It would be interesting to see how many Canadian Politicians would be elected if they ran their own personal finances the way they drive Canada into further debt every second of every day with other people's hard earned money?

Yes the Political Scene is a major force to contend with- wouldn't be refreshing if NYRR had some support in that arena?

Time Will Tell! You can tell that I'm a big fan of the 52% tax system we have in Canada--then of course another 14% after we pay the 52% Then of course a surcharge tax on top of that if any Canadian shows any initiative and finally makes a few bucks. JMO!

I remember being in Grade School and part of the day's opening ceremony would be for the class to stand and sing the canadian national Anthem. Of course those days are long gone--something to do with freedom of something or other. My guess is that if anyone randomly selected any school age child from the Canadian School System that not even 6 out of 10 ( I'm giving the benefit of the doubt) of them would be able to sing the Canadain National Anthem from start to finish.--or even say the words.

Four years of teaching was enough for me--the system gave all the attention to all the trouble makers--the co-operative children and the one's that wanted to learn were moved to the side to wait!

Now many years later they are still waiting! For what I am not exactly sure? JMO!

Sorry for the very off topic posting--but it's been quiet around here anyway--looks like many have moved on to the Raging Bull. JMO!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
