OT: Stupid trading tales-My First Short...LOL

This morning I decided to dump PAIR. Should have sold it last week, but...shoulda', woulda', coulda'... Anyway, I load up to sell and am told I don't currently own this postion. I check the positions site and, yes, it is there. So thinking Schwab has goofed up, I push the trades button. I look a few minutes later and can't find PAIR as being sold. I look closer, and I see that I have just sold PSFT at about 29$ a share. My heart stopped.... I had just shorted PSFT and still owned PAIR! I called Schwab and then called Poet who calmed me down and I sold PSFT for a $300 profit. I then sold PAIR for a $1000 loss, so it didn't quite work out in the wash. But I am now the owner of AOL and waiting for another split. Bought it about 2 splits ago, sold and have regretted it ever since.

Hope you all are having a better day...
