You just don't get it, do you? It's the cost side of the equation.
AMD is INCREASINGLY falling behing Intel in process
technology, manufacturing, etc. K6-3, K7 will both INCREASE
AMD's cost structure. AT THE SAME TIME, AMD won't be able
raise ASPs, because they are stuck selling at the low-end (why?,
combination of Intel putting out faster & faster technology,
brand name, reputation, etc.)
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's going to happen to
AMD's bottom line.""...

I gave a GOOD CASE FOR HOLDING INTEL AND NOT AMD but nooooo...you have to act like moron Paul and try to turn it around like I'm touting owning AMD and not Intel. Then you have to go on the attack, just like Paul. Maybe you can get Paul to adopt you.
