Duke - You asked, "(w)hat's TTP?" in the context of ASDL. Answer is: "telephone twisted pair" which is what those four little colored wires in the phone lines are called. Each gray-covered phone line has two TTPs in it. The lines make wonderful stereo speakers leads as well, but be sure to use lines NOT connected to phones (hahaha).

Slightly OT - And I agree with your @home and RBOC comments, but how did you get the cost under $11? Does that include ISP fees, etc.? How much is the DIMD modem, and will it work with Bell Atl's Infospeed DSL?
