Dave,

You are referring to the median. The median is the point at which half the population are below, and half are above. In a perfectly normal distribution, the median and the average co-incide. However, I believe that the distribution of YHOO investors (I use the term loosely) is so skewed that there is a yawning gap between the median and the average. This is what I call the "sleepless nightmare" gap.

At this stage of my life, I value rest above greed.....vbg.
