Just a note on high stock valuations. In a discussion with my very knowledgable broker this morning we essentially shared the opinion that the inflation we have both been expecting for several years now is all in the market and that as a consequence those not in the market are experiencing a "relative" decrease in net worth. The future is not bright in that on the one hand the situation will balance itself by higher inflation in the general market which will bring down stock prices, or it will balance itself out by a crash in stock prices. The answer, in his opinion, basic commodity stocks to be held in hunker-down mode for the long (5+years)term.
