ten, for the first time, your post agreed with me that AMd does ahve a price advantage over Intel. Secondly you noted the AMd Winbook winning the editors chioce. these are good steps in regaining your objectivity. now for tom's review what missing in his presentation is the system tested cost. do you beleive it is a fair comparison to test a system that cost $1,000.oo against one that cost $2,500.00. Also would the review not be more objective is the cost differential was used to optimise the low cost system? I must admit it is very refreshing to see an intellabee amdit to some of AMds advantages. You may even be on your way to recovering your objectivity. have no fear in doing so free thinking will keep you sharper.ANd youmay find this an advantage in helping Intel where they fall behind. Don't for one minute think AMd will give up the low lend market because the last guy to the $50.00 chip is the ultimate loser. Grove knows this so does Barrett, problem is Intel would have to turn itself upside down and canabolise itself to get there and greed stands in their way. if im not mistakes grove discussed this in his book only the parinoid survive. Sanders says Grove you magnificant Bastard i read your book. famouse line from Patten, as he defeated Roummal. at El Alimane, Tunisia, during the African Campaign.
