JT, I didn't misunderstand anything. But I think you overlooked what I wrote in post 1207: "... My guess is PR Newswire might keep the company-recommended headline'; but Reuters, or Dow Jones services, syndicated news services, perhaps are more likely to change the headline. But I'm not certain since I'm more familiar with how political and sports news is made when it comes to journalism." I certainly suspected what I wrote above was the case, as you've verified. By the way, thank you for that verification. Is not your verification precisely what I "guessed"? Yup!
