College sports is still a really big business though gator, I lived in Austin last year when the UT longhorns were the losingest team in the league dispite having Ricky Williams, they even lost to the aggies, it was pathetic. Not as bad as pro but the way the coaches talk about the students its a similar barter-type business with no team loyalty, coaches are paid a lot and retained based on their ability to get recruits, well gee, how do they compete for recruiting anyway - you tell me.
