Gary,pick about 15-20 stocks in differant groups,track the close each day,you will see patterns in each,don't buy on the way down[thats like trying to catch a javlin on the way down] let it bottom out,startgoing back up,then buy.Between 10-20%higher sell! don't be greety,if you get 10 % 1 time each month,thats over 120% per year because its compounded.
