Caxton,
IMHO, the reason Sprint PCS stock (PCS) has done so poorly is because their network (and its data rate capability) is lousy and should be gotten rid of. Investors have clearly realized Sprint's folly going with cdma <VVVBG>.

This from a lurker and a Sprint PCS and TDMA/AMPS subscriber (two different phones). Analog works best. TDMA clips a lot. CDMA1900 has the best clarity). As for GSM - it appears to be no better than the others. BUT, you can't beat a plan that offers no nation wide roaming and long distance starting at 30 bucks a month. I'd swallow a few dropped calls for that. I'm not sure that Sprint PCS is doing poorly for technical reasons; I'd look elsewhere for the answers to that one.

Just my 2c.

Regards,
Shoibal
