<< We are about to see Zagoren turn it up a notch. The IBE is a great place to start -it's in their backyard (NYC) and it should catch some of that city's financial press too. I've been digging into a trade show and exhibition website: www.tscentral.com/. The IBE is listed. There are many shows worldwide with an international trade focus that happen all year long. And they are BIG:
-Cyprus Int'l. Fair; May 14-23,1999
528 exhibitors, 157,000 attendees
-Modena, Italy; July 1999
454 exhibitors, 130,000 attendees
-Santiago, Chile; Nov.1999
1000 exhibitors, 200,000 attendees
-Cairo, Egypt; Mar 9-19,1999 (Maybe next year)
2378 exhibitors, over 1.2 mill attendees!
Hopefully, getting our company's name out will include a trade show road crew that covers these mega events. Perhaps it may be more efficient to organize and direct the efforts through local PR firms more familiar with the individual regions, but leave it to Zagoren-Zozzora to maximize PNL's marketing budget dollar. It seems like they would get a pretty good return of international recognition for the few thousand dollars it takes to get into these shows.
I like GZ's efforts at the chamber of commerce level and its intent of gathering groups of subscribers at one time. It makes sense that these fellow COC members would want to trade on the same system as each other. It's very possible that COC members would be even more comfortable with the PNL concept if they get exposed to it and recognize it through varying marketing levels and in different mediums like these shows. --RMc >>
