Ed, Linux is just a "toy"? Isn't this similar to what many said of the first automobiles, that they were "just a toy for the rich". Come to think of it, many said that planes and tanks were just oddities that would soon disappear the first time they were introduced into combat. Check out this article on the tremendous momentum behind Linux. mercurycenter.com Microsoft is my second largest holding in my portfolio, so I honestly hope you are right about it being a toy. But unfortunately I believe Linux and the open source movement represent the largest threats to Microsoft over the long term.
