How was the problem of the data being seen determined?

The programming code that performs the array manipulations of the input data in implementing the back-propagation routine should be very specific as to how many input vectors would be applied to the network during each ot the training process iterations. Granted, the number of input sets applied will be changed as the user moves the date line back and forth, but the program should not contain a flaw as obvious as this.

I'm not saying it doesn't (because I don't know one way or the other at this point)...it just would appear that it would not have taken this long to be noticed - it should have been noticed during the initial programming, not several versions of the commercial product later.

Anyway, was just mainly curious - not arguing!
