Thanks for the excellent article. Harmon has spent a great deal of time sorting things out and has been very successful in establishing new criteria to evaluate the nets. I wish his work could get to some of those analysts on Wall street!

By the way,(this could be of interest in response to the question from Boolish) Ann Rogers at Bid.com asked me to contact her when I received my Sound Card so she could get an idea of how long it took to get to me. The package was postmarked on 2-12-99 and I received it today. I told her I thought that was too long, because I can get catalogue orders from the east coast within 3-4 days (to Calif) I think she may agree with me. When my sister mails me packages from Canada she crosses the border because she says the postal system is frustrating in Canada. This may be a problem in terms of billing.. what if you get your credit card bill, but haven't yet received the merchandise? Could be irritating.(I think the billing is done when the package is shipped) Also people are keen to get their purchases and even if they haven't been billed yet, the wait is frustrating. At least Rogers has the info and can see what they can do about it.

A couple of people responded to my postings about Bid.com this afternoon on the chat room in AOL. In one room, everybody started to leave after I made the posting - hope they were going to check on the stock!! Went from about 45 members to 15 in a few minutes...maybe they were going to dinner ?
