Thanks for continuing to share your thoughts about Digital Me.

The one thing I've suspected all along with regard to Microsoft is the potential for it to cut some deal with the Government in the name of national security.

Look at the recent "know you customer" proposal working it's way through Congress.

Or the Freedom from religious persecution act which passed Congress last year.

These proposals all endorse active Government involvement in arbitrating private actions in direct ways which can limit our freedoms.

I'm wary of Microsoft. Gate's has a ton of money and DC Bill wants a piece of it.

PS - I'm back using AOL's IE browser - piece of crap. Can't paste info into SI or Yahoo. Has anyone had this probem.
