TNT SLI -- no big deal

Some things to keep in mind:

1. It is a 2-board solution more expensive than a single V3-3500.

2. You have to buy TWO NEW boards from Metabyte. You cannot simply add a Metabyte board to your existing TNT. Therefore, who is this aimed at? Will existing TNT users now own THREE TNT boards?

3. Taking into account overhead, drivers, etc., I believe it's likely that it's performance will be roughly equal to that of a V3-3500. I doubt that it will be significantly faster.

It's innovative, it's impressive, but I don't think it will have any material impact on TDFX's business.

Let's not get too carried away...
