Hello Jim, nice to hear from you again, hope all is going well.
Most of the gripes on this board have been from what people have heard or been told by other investors or the company supposedly, not what has been printed.
That's not necessarily correct. In the conversion offer of 1997, the company stated in the infopacket that intent of the company was to reduce the float, but more importantly that a reverse split was going to happen if the shares were not converted. This may have caused people who would not have otherwise converted to do, out of fear of a reverse split.
It doesn't really matter if something is a lack of ability or a falsehood; either way, the bottom line is it didn't happen. I do not know Brad personally. He may be one heck of a nice guy. He and the rest of the company may have made statements with the best of intentions. I don't mean to sound cliche, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Being a nice guy does not automatically qualify someone for my investment. I know a lot of "nice guys" who I wouldn't trust to take out my trash. People invest their money with the hopes of seeing a positive result. Eutro has not delivered that result. Period.
Whether intentional or not, you must admit, there have been some dumb moves made in the past by the IR. With this, combined with the lack of results from the company and the lack of performance in the stock, I would say the loss of investor confidence is justified.
You are right, most of the OTC companies don't deliver. But, I cannot accept that as a reason to invest in this company. The fact that there are a million thieves in the world does not make any one less a thief.
I have to totally disagree with one part of your post, however. I am not sure what stocks you think it is I have been in. Most of my investments are on different boards, and with the exception of Midland, EUTO probably is indeed one of my worst. If you are looking for my thoughts on Midland, you will find them on that thread. But I will save you a little time by saying that my opinion of that company, Eutro, and 99% of the other OTC stocks I own is pretty much the same. Most of the people who win with OTC stocks do so by preying on the natural emotions of FEAR and GREED that exist to some degree in all of us. Frankly, I can think of better ways to make a buck.
They are like a trip to Vegas without the plane ride.
Just my opinion
