READ THIS! from another member who did some DD beyond the call of duty: To: Dave Gore From: Stockman8 Tuesday, Feb 23 1999 9:55PM ET Dave, Tonight I spoke with a GM plant supervisor asking him about the ultrasound units that GM and Ford are purchasing from MRPS...I am not sure if everyone understands that if the plants are buying the product, then the dealerships have no choice but to purchase also. I don't think most people understand that if they sell to 64 GM plants, the approximately 10,000 dealerships will have to purchase also. The plant supervisor said he had heard about these, but his plant has not recieved any yet..My interpretation in the news releases are that Ford dealerships are buying and GM plants are buying, which would lead me to think that Gm dealerships will have to follow...Hope this makes sense. I will be calling them tomorrow for some questions i have and will update the thread...Chris
