I made the mistake of signing up to use the askmerrill website. Two days later I was blitzed by my local Merrill Lynch stockbroker who tried to sell me investment services. He is persistent. Calls about once a month. In my humble opinion, the askmerrill site is a thinly-disguised marketing ploy to gather names for their high-priced traditional services. Its an easy way for them to get names and phone numbers. FYI
