Regarding Sharkey & Tom, some people just like to go against the flow...

It is annoying that what are faults with Voodoo become highlights of other chips (exta slot, extra cost).

I am encouraged by the idea that STB championed the TNT in the OEM world and that if nVidia have to leave it to Creative & Diamond to continue, they won't find it so easy.

Fact is 3Dfx are on target to deliver the fastest chip currently evidenced and they have delivered on their promise. Barring an nVidea coup, the V3 will be the fastest thing on the shelf and not expensive at $180. That is the leading edge in performance, they got the jump as 3Dfx has with every Voodoo product. It is inevitable that they will be caught up but I would rather be invested in the company that gets to market first. With STB as part of the infrastructure there should be less time between jumps in the future. That puts real pressure on the competition.

What the hell happened to STBI's price at 3.30 yesterday!!
