Just for the record, Ron C is not my buddy, but if he doesn't get it right, stockholders lose out. As far as selling some of his 896,000 shares, can you blame him? I couldn't resist. Bill Gates, as I recall,
last year sold about $7.5M worth of Microsoft for living expenses. I don't see anyone giving him a hard time.
As far as being hung up on revenues goes, I don't know where you're coming from. An EPS can occasionally be altered, but without increasing revenues, as evidenced here, you won't be in business long.
That's just the facts. Like it or not. Period.
As far as believing them, I called NY and talked with Dawn Berrie a few days before the December problem. She told me that everything was just great with the company and all the estimates. Maybe she didn't know. But as far as I'm concerned, she lied. But of course, this company goes on and as long as I am a shareholder, I wish them well and me too. That's it. Out.
