Since you asked, I will try to explain. I don't "approve" of them I just happen to have some of the same beliefs as Camus. I didn't choose to believe that way, rather Camus merely reinforces my own cosmological observations. I watch movies for entertainment and sometimes for education. In the case of "Il Postino" I thought I was renting a certain type of movie, a quiet little movie with no big tragedy. I was dissapointed. I know what I'm getting with Camus. I don't expect a happy ending, but I never read Camus for entertainment either. I read philosophy to know myself better and for that electricity I sometimes feel when I encounter ideas that mesh perfectly with my own. Does that make any sense to you? Alexa
