Gerald: yah sure, they'll release a patch if it fits within their quarterly accounting cost and OS upgrade guidelines. MSFT is the most ridiculous excuse for a "quality" focused company that has ever inhabited the face of this earth. They have ZERO quality, repeat ZERO quality. Don't let your hatred for MSFT blind you to the facts. MSFT does indeed release patches for program bugs. They release OS patches, Office patches, IE patches, etc. The assertion I corrected was that they didn't at all. MSFT quality is no worse than that of the majority of PC software writers, which I will admit is not all that good.
