Ok guys, let's look at this carefully. Metabyte has introduced and innovative technique to use to TNT (or other chip sets) to do what Voodoo 3 does in one package. I do admire Metabyte's software engineers. And they are very innovative on their product designs. But last I checked, Voodoo 3 = Voodoo 2 + Voodoo 2 + 2D portion of Banshee. How is this worse than "TNT SLI" on a cost / performance basis is unclear to me. Now I've always liked the idea to be able to sell more than one graphics card to the same customer. I think 3Dfx made a mistake by not incorporating that into Voodoo3 3000 and above design. But I don't see this SLI news as a crushing blow to 3Dfx.
