The back taxes are owed to the Township of McGarry not the Town of Kirkland Lake. Alex is apparently trying to start something else in the K.L. area with another mine, does Northfield Minerals ring a bell? I will try to get more info. Check out Armistice Resources Ltd (aci-me), it is just down the road from the Kerr. There is also Transpacific (TRNP) which is doing some drilling in the area.
