The chip itself may be slightly faster, but as a complete unit the Mac computer is not faster than the Pentium PC. Granted, you may be right when it comes to some intense graphical applications that need RISC. But with the vast majority of applications being run today, PC's are actually faster because the software is 32bit-Windows optimized. Apple needs better mainstream software and a better O/S.
