Slider: If Platters previous post about Rodrigues, Chavez, Venezuela really cutting their production to agreed levels is true then the next of the "cheaters" are Iran and Nigeria. My bet is the next to cut production is Iran. It looks to me as though they are losing their battle with the Saudi's.

 wholesale price index increases by 17.5 percent in 11th month
tehran, feb. 22. irna -- the wholesale price index of goods increased
by 17.5 percent in the iranian month of 'bahman' (january 21-february
19), the 11th month of the iranian calender, compared to the same
month last year.
a report released by the central bank of iran (cbi) statistics
department said that the wholesale index of goods stood at 669 units
in bahman, which is 1.7 percent higher than in the previous month.
furthermore, the average price index in the first 11 months of
the year (since march 21), was 18.7 percent higher than in the same
period last year, the report said.
the price index for the first 11 months of 1376 ending in bahman
17.7 percent higher than that of the same period the previous year
(1375).
the report also said that the price index for food items,
beverages and tobaco in bahman was 2.7 percent higher than that of
the preceding month.
the price index for fruits and vegetables rose by 6.9 percnet,
rice by 3.8 percent, red meat, poultry and fish by 1.1 percent and
tobacco by 10.3 percent. the price index for eggs donwed by 7.1
percent.

Their only hope in rescuing their currency is to get up the price of oil by cutting production and renegotiating their debt. Same as Venezuela. The oil price war is having it's way with them.
