Will:
After much thought I just cannot & will not tell anybody what they should do with their money. If I was that good, I'd own the S.I. site instead of reading & posting here.
I will tell you a true story. I first heard of Wal Mart around 1982. I'm not certain, but I believe it was in the context of:"$10,000.00 invested in Wal Mart at the IPO price in 1977 is now worth xx,xxx.xx ", and it was impressive given the returns for the late 1970's. It split. My infamous words to myself were:"That was a heck of a run, but nothing can go on like that forever." It split again, and again, and again, AND again. Finally, after the 1993 split, I was correct. It has taken Wal Mart over 5 years to go from 33 to 84. I've never owned a share of Wal Mart in my life. (You should be beginning to understand why I NEVER give people advice. <g>) I never bought it because I was always so busy looking at where it had been, I never really evaluated where it could go.
I'm not saying NEON is anything at all like Wal Mart. I AM saying in my investing experience, looking forward rather than backwards can make a huge difference in where one ends up. 8-)
