Carlton,

I agree with Bob, and I'm buying all the Quidel I can. I've followed Quidel for four years, and I'm sure it's now in a prefect position to begin generating strong earnings - result: STOCK APPRECIATION. As far as I'm concerned, if you study Quidel's story diligently, you'll discover buying Quidel stock to make money is a "no brainer." A lot's happened to Quidel over the years, but all that's necessary for Quidel to bring in the sales has come together so recently.

Bob's right when he says Quidel's sales are seasonal because of its strep tests, but I think the market for Chlamydia and H.pylori testing is about ready to explode, so I wouldn't consider selling next fall unless the stocks tripled in price. Here's another site that was recently started to educate the public and physicians about H.pylori:

canadianhp.com

I think the big H.pylori testing explosion will begin when people become aware H.plyori is a major factor in the development of stomach cancer. The H.pylori testing market will then be in the tens to hundreds of millions in north America. As I've said before, people will be gobbling their pills to prevent stomach cancer as fast as they downed Oats when studies suggested Oats helped prevent cholesterol clogged arteries.
