Let's take a step back for a minute.... You just got through saying that one you are not making money and two you are not happy with the way you are doing things..... With this in mind, why would you make a statement like this:

"I can not agree that complexity is negative, a logically developed indicator is good no matter how many features it has."

How would you know????? What are you basing this statement on, your own past experiences??????

Simplisity in trading is beauty... The last thing you want is a 100 point checklist when you need to make a decision to either buy or sell. Your system should be lean and mean yet effective.....

In my system I use over 20 indicators yet it takes me under 30 seconds to decide if I want to buy or sell....

You need to do your work up front developing, testing and evaluating your system. You need to make sure it works and it keeps working. You can get as complex as you want in your development but if you REALLY WANT TO MAKE MONEY, you will keep the system itself as simple as possible...
