I'm a novice. I've been trading stocks for a while but the option market is new to me. I am reading books on the subject and have been eyeing and calculating options in what-if scenarios. I finally bought in on msqci last week sold to close today for a 75% ROI. I then picked up a longer term option today.

One thing that some authors have stressed is to set your exit point and don't let greed get in the way. I managed to get out today ahead of the game and I noticed after market close that we shed these gains due to the sell off late in the session. Greed could have kept me in.
