I went down to the Las Vegas Meeting. While I planned on having Roast Drake under glass they did not have it available this year,
However, Mr. David Evans was brought up for viewing, and what a sight. He reminded me of someone that should be behind a shopping cart in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. He had his either a money belt or a bud belt for his stash wrapped around his waist. He could have been the guy that the logger missed with the Redwood up in the Headlands.
Poor Mr. Evans, he was surrounded by smiles and positive people and most people spoke to him so they could go home and say they spoke to an oddity. Anyway, from what I could see and observe he was not getting anyone to diss the company very badly. No one has been happy with the price of the stock.
Oh, by the way, I heard Mr. Evans spoke to the conference hall people, and intimidated that there may be trouble. He probably yells fire for kicks in theaters as well. There were some 350 people at the annual meeting.
Sadly, Mr Drake all your predatory efforts have probably made you money, probably had something to do with JT's leaving as well as a lot of other things. I have never met you but if you are similar to David Evans I know what to expect.
A number of us that had talked and/or listened to him had a discussion about his intentions and cannot come to agreement. Some thought he was bought and paid for by some short predator group and the others thought he was a 60's type radical that dispises capitalism and want Hillary to have her health plan. A few others thought he was just a victim of his bud belt. The didn't know if the weed came from Mendocino or Maui.
BUT, sorry to say the meeting was positive and abtx will be moving forward in a much different manner. The new breed in there are different then what you have dealt with and they all have a mission to accomplish. AND, they are capable and experienced.
IMHO, ABTX picks a much higher caliber of employee than does Bloomberg! The difference between David Evans and any of the parties introduced by JT was striking.
