In trying to measure it, I say low risk breakouts can come within a day or two of volume 1/3 the 180 MA of volume. Volume for sells would be at the 2 to 3 times average level. The market does not like extremes, it will move towards the mean.

You see I think just the opposite of the popular views concerning volume.
