New Pipeline Permit

I was encouraged by today's press release for the new pipeline permit in the Bolivar. It would seem prudent if HEC would consolidate operations a bit, start getting production out of what they've found, and use that revenue to fund their new prospects. I think the stock would rally if people could see something other than continuous losses in their financial reports.

Regarding the post on the selection of the Islero sight . . . I was the one who posted that that wasn't HEC's first choice for a drilling location in that contract area but Columbia's. I only know what I heard. I read in another post that the HEC representative who refuted this was a "straight shooter." Perhaps, and that's fine by me. But can someone explain why they wouldn't do the first exploratory well in that contract area as close as possible to the Seven Seas find? I have little knowledge of oil drilling, so maybe I'm missing something here. It sure seems like a logical plan to me, though, especially in light of the expensive nature of the Islero.

Still long . . .

Bob
