The news in CRN this week was the Oracle overtook MSFT in DB sales

In December MSFT's share of the client/server database reseller market was 46% and Oracles was 32%. In January Msft's share slipped to 32% and Oracles moved up to 41%. This is the first time in a year that Oracle has had sales above 32% and the first time in a year MSFT has had sales below 41%. Resellers as measured by CRN are mostly involved in small server system sales.
