Labman,

I agree that many companies would love to advertise to students.

The problem is I've seen news reports of how vehemently against the idea most parents, teachers, and school administrators seem to be.

For example, computer companies have at times offered to donate free computers in exchange for screensaver ads. As far as I know, this has not gotten far.

I'm long on BIT so I want only the best for them. I'm highly skeptical getting ads in schools is going to happen, however.

Their revenues will likely continue to come from subscriptions and wherever else they decide to branch off into.

Please tell me if I'm wrong... It's happened many times before.
